She then felt the need to transcend technique and break free from the dogmas of academicism. While still a student, and driven by an endless quest for freedom, Flory founded Invenio Flory in 2011: a space of freedom in which to give shape to her work and project her imagination beyond all limits, leaving her mark on matter and on time through the creation of a personal universe and aesthetic.

Always on the move, Invenio Flory never stops inventing the future of creation and the fine crafts
Originally from the Pas-de-Calais, Flory is moved by the arts, crafts and industries that have shaped the places she passes through and draws from. From a very young age, she developed a hands-on practice, took up many artistic activities and pushed her body and mind to defy time and stillness.
In perpetual motion, Flory moves her ballerina's body just as she moves her hands as a potter, sculptor, embroiderer or architect, reading the world through her fingertips. Driven by an irrepressible need to create and produce, she invents a language of gesture and body in which the hand is a tool for thought and action. "I embroider, therefore I live." Moved by the desire to extend the tactile sensations and vibrations of her childhood, Flory studied textile crafts and then art direction at the École Duperré, specializing in embroidery.

A space of freedom and creation born from the synergy of a studio, a lab and a workshop. An experiential loft, a place for exploring a total and protean art. The Loft was designed and built in Invenio Flory's image, open-plan to foster innovation and research. It houses a gallery, completing the breakdown of barriers between the places where crafts are practiced, where works are created and where they are shown.
