From April 6 to 11, 2021, the European Artistic Crafts Days (JEMA) will take place on the theme "Matière à l'œuvre" (Materials at Work).
Invenio Flory will have the honor of taking part in several events:
– April 6, 2021 at 6 p.m. –
Rencontre des Gobelins – Materials at work: a challenge for entrepreneurship in the fine crafts and living heritage?
Flory Brisset, founder of the Invenio Flory studio, will have the honor of speaking on this theme alongside Henri Jobbe-Duval, curator of the exhibition Matière à l'œuvre, matière à penser, matière de faire, Luc Lesénécal, president of the INMA, and Pierre Corthay, Master of Art and men's bootmaker.
– April 9 to May 9, 2021 –
Exhibition: Matière à l'œuvre, matière à penser, matière de faire.
An exhibition hosted by the Gobelins gallery, presented by the INMA, in partnership with the Mobilier national and with the support of the Bettencourt-Schueller Foundation.
Invenio Flory will present its work Anima, which deals with the vital driving principle conceptualized by Aristotle. The work will react to the visitor's heartbeat, picked up by a contact sensor. In this way, it is the viewer's own vital principle that poetically animates the material of the work.
