Invenio Flory is delighted to announce the studio's participation in the European Artistic Crafts Days. After two years of being kept away, we will be happy to make our hands and minds vibrate in unison!
To this end, our creative director, Flory BRISSET, is designing a protean work. It will be the canvas for experimentation for visitors to the JEMA. Flory draws inspiration from optical and kinetic art and from the work of Felipe Pantone. She has designed a three-dimensional bas-relief that questions the nature of the creative gesture and its trace through optical and sensory disturbance.
We will offer hands-on workshops to create a coherent, bold work and "make it together". The studio team and our artisans will share their savoir-faire and innovative knowledge to collectively champion an iconoclastic vision of the fine crafts and of creation.
In a context more fragile than ever for the fine crafts, marked by the weakening of their representation and their defense by commercial interests and private players, Invenio Flory will be pleased to donate this work to the Institut National des Métiers d'Art (INMA) in recognition of its commitment to the fine crafts since 1889 (formerly the Société d'encouragement aux arts et à l'industrie). You will be able to see the work on display at the premises of the Institut National des Métiers d'Art from June 2022.
