Rendez-Vous de la Matière + Fair(e) – 2021

A look back in pictures at Invenio Flory's participation in the Rendez-Vous de la Matière trade show, in the Fair(e) space.

During these two days of meetings, we welcomed architects, interior designers and fine-craft professionals to present our latest creations.

These ornamental works, some of which were designed especially for this 7th edition of the Rendez-Vous de la Matière + Fair(e), build illusion and summon the duality between reference and rupture to assert the power of matter.

Born from the encounter between the savoir-faire of the fine crafts and innovative tools, these unique creations explore the principle of retinal memory and optical disturbance. Whether bas-relief concrete or the illusion of a glass membrane, all of them summon the embroidery reference in a poetic aesthetic where a stain becomes an imaginary landscape.

The show was also an opportunity for Hugo Rubio, the studio's head of innovation, to discuss innovation in the fine-craft sector alongside Kévin Joly, founder of I-craft, in a talk moderated by Annabelle Ledoux.

Invenio Flory especially thanks Magali Lancien of the French Craft Guild for inviting us to take part in this discussion, which she co-organized.

Invenio Flory also thanks Sébastien Maschino and his whole team for organizing this event.

Les Rendez-Vous de la Matière + Fair(e) 2021 is an event organized by Bookstorming-Archistorm, with a scenography imagined and designed by Frédéric Imbert, signage by Agent M and landscaping of the spaces by Jardins de Gally.
